The crossover of artificial intelligence and online dating is uncharted territory, and the AI Online Dating Podcast is pioneering the discussion on the future of AI and online dating.
On our second episode of the AI Online Dating Podcast, we had a panel of 4 people to represent AI and to represent online dating.

The Next Billion Dollar Dating App
Panelists discussed the possibility of the Google Assistant, in your cell phone, using AI to interact with other personal assistants around you in real time. You will effectively be participating in AI speed dating while you go about your life, meaning that the localization of your device mixed with the power of AI can allow you to potentially match with the people around you while you are grocery shopping or partying at a nightclub.
AIOD panelists identified that Google, Apple, OpenAI and Meta are the most capable companies of making the next billion dollar dating app happen. Only that it won’t actually necessarily be a dating app anymore, it will just be a mere feature of your personal assistant, or integrated into Meta’s platforms, or an OpenAI app or assistant.
This possibly means that the next big dating app might not even be an app on your phone, but just a feature you can enable in your phone’s settings. This will bring about the next stage of online dating, and leave dating apps as a thing of the past.
