Choose Your Friends Wisely
So there’s another thing I’ve come to learn about success with women, well success with anything to be honest. Basically if you want to really succeed in any area of life you need to surround yourself with people who are on the same journey as you.
There’s people I know who are moody, unambitious, set in their ways and totally lacking confidence and when I spend time with them it rubs off on me. These are people who don’t really care about me or my goals and also don’t want to see me rise above them or change. They’re happy having me in whatever predetermined box they’ve placed me into and don’t want to see me leave it.
But then again there’s people who inspire me to be and do better. Friends who are outgoing, social and ambitious. People who I both learn from and get into crazy adventures with when we’re together whether that’s finding random strangers to say happy birthday to me on camera or just dancing in front of a street performer and inspiring a mini crowd to join in.
My good friend Joe Elvin is one of those people, and frankly someone I should be spending more time with. Today we were filming for our upcoming social confidence course and ended up bumping into a girl and hanging out with her. There were no pickup lines used whatsoever because we didn’t need any. It was just the two of us having shitloads of fun, generating a great energy that other people loved and eventually pulling a girl into our world as a result.
This is us here
This scenario wouldn’t have happened with a lot of other people I know and it’s really made me think about the life I want to live and who I should have in it.
They say that you’re the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with and nothing could be more true. Associate with winners and brace yourself for success. Fraternise with losers and prepare for certain failure.
