Game Global asked the pickup community to vote for the greatest pickup artists of all time during nominations for Best Pickup Artist 2023. Here are the 20 greatest pickup artists of all time.

1. Erik Von Markovik (Mystery)
Erik Von Markovik (Mystery) is the greatest pickup artist of all time. He is most notable for being a core character in the famous book The Game by Neil Strauss in 2005. He then later produced his own book The Mystery Method in 2006.
Erik Von Markovik (Mystery) is also known for hosting the reality TV show called The Pickup Artist on VH1 from 2007-2008, and is regarded as a classic old school pickup artist.
2. Julien Blanc (RSD Julien)
Julien Blanc (RSD Julien) was a coach for the infamous pickup company Real Social Dynamics, and became highly respected in the pickup artist community for his extremely popular infield videos. However, he became the subject of a social media campaign attempting to cancel him in 2014 following controversy around his advice, and he was banned from several countries, including England, Australia and Singapore, as a result.
He has since moved away from pickup artistry and stopped hosting bootcamps years ago, transitioning into self help advice. He produced the program Transformation Mastery.
3. Owen Cook (RSD Tyler)
Owen Cook (RSD Tyler) gained popularity following the success of Neil Strauss’s book The Game. He was the cofounder of Real Social Dynamics, which was the biggest and most popular pickup company, dominating the pickup artist world for well over a decade until it began phasing out in 2018. Owen Cook still produces videos on YouTube to this day, and continues to offer bootcamps under the radar (See bootcamps here).
Real Social Dynamics had a terrific and popular community known as the RSD Inner Circle groups, which Game Global came to replace since 2018 with Game Global’s network of Game Cities for wingmen.
4. Markus Wolf
Markus Wolf is the cofounder of Ultimate Man Project, and was voted Best Pickup Artist 2023, and is valued in particular for his night game advice.
Most recently, Markus Wolf has become involved in some very interesting debates, particularly debating the hot topic ‘Cold Approach VS Social Circle Game‘ with Michael Sartain from the Michael Sartain Podcast. He is also a regular guest on the Dating Coach Panel and various YouTube channels.
5. Neil Strauss (Style)
Neil Strauss (Style) is a bestselling author who has written several books, most notoriously The Game: Penetrating The Secret Society Of Pickup Artists. His book was such a success that he will forever be regarded as one of the greatest pickup artists of all time.
In the early 2000s, Neil Strauss lived in a game house called Project Hollywood with Erik Von Markovik (Mystery) and Owen Cook (RSD Tyler). He began to shy away from the pickup artist scene after the release of The Game in 2005.
6. Todd VanDeHey (Xaneus/RSD Todd/Todd Valentine/Todd V)
Todd VanDeHey (Todd V) is a pickup artist coach that was also mentioned in the book The Game as Xaneus, having lived in a tent in the Project Hollywood game house, and was formerly a coach (RSD Todd) for Real Social Dynamics until a dispute in 2017. He now operates his own coaching business and continues to coach his own bootcamps.
7. Shaun Michael (Discovery)
Shaun Michael (Discovery) is a veteran coach from England with many qualifications and years of experience, and an official master pickup artist (MPUA), being recognized as one of the greatest pickup artists early on by old school pickup artists. He has worked alongside Erik Von Markovik (Mystery) in Venusian Arts, and now runs the coaching company 3 Second Rule (3SR), and continues to host bootcamps around the world (See bootcamps here).
He currently lives in Manchester and runs a program called Success Academy.
8. Alex Lindberg
Alex Lindberg is the cofounder of Ultimate Man Project, alongside Markus Wolf. He has various infield videos, particularly day game infield, and has been immersed in the scene for over a decade.
9. John Mulvehill (John Anthony)
John Mulvehill (John Anthony) is a controversial pickup artist and active YouTuber. He has claimed to have had sex with over 1,500 men and women, and lives in Brazil.
10. Austen Summers
Austen Summers is a popular and young pickup artist, producing a lot of new infield videos on YouTube. He was voted the 2nd Best Day Gamer 2023 and 2nd Best Pickup Artist 2023.
11. Ross Jeffries
Ross Jeffries is the father and founder of the seduction community itself, beginning all the way back in 1988 as the very first pickup artist. He is a legendary figure, also mentioned many times in Neil Strauss’s book The Game, and notorious for his application of seduction to neuro linguistic programming (NLP). He has an entire collection of language patterns with lots of crazy stories throughout the years, having coaches for more than 30 years as the founder of Speed Seduction.
Ross Jeffries is very highly respected for his 1992 appearance on NBC, where he faced a hostile audience of hundreds of feminists and held his frame like a master. He is also popular for his NLP language patterns.
12. Andrew Tate
Andrew Tate, while declaring that he is not a pickup artist and rejecting other labels, became the most Googled man on Earth from 2022. He is highly respected by the pickup artist community for his guidance for men in general, particularly in regard to masculinity, frame control and various other aspects of dating.
13. Maximilian Berger (RSD Max)
Maximilian Berger (RSD Max) was a coach for Real Social Dynamics in its final years. He became, at one point, the most popular coach in the entire pickup artist industry for his relatability, following his high quality program The Natural in 2016. He had a very nerdy background, coming from a small town in Austria.
Max was, in general, a very normal, relatable and humble person, and managed to inspire a lot of pickup artists before moving onto business mentoring, and is now running his own business coaching company.
14. Vadim Dorfman
Vadim Dorfman is known for his work running the Honest Signalz YouTube channel and is popular for his infield videos.
15. Stan Tayi (Matador)
Stan Tayi (Matador) was a well known pickup artist who coached alongside Erik Von Markovik (Mystery), and was also involved in the TV show The Pickup Artist.
16. Jeff Allen (Jlaix/RSD Jeffy)
Jeff Allen (RSD Jeffy) was a coach for Real Social Dynamics for well over a decade. He was eccentric and fun, and even had his own pimped out van for the purpose of sex. His most recent work includes the program 5 Hour Charisma. He continues to work alongside Owen Cook and Julien Blanc under the company Self Mastery Co (See bootcamps here).
17. Tom Ralis (Tom Torero)
Tom Ralis (Tom Torero) was a Welsh pickup artist, frequently mentioned for his ‘London Day Game Model’.
Devastatingly, Tom Torero committed suicide in 2021, shortly after a defamatory article was written about him by Danya Hajjaji on Newsweek. Danya Hajjaji, a ‘journalist’, attempted to cancel him, even cutting off his monetization. What really happened in Tom Torero’s life leading up to his unfortunate death remains mysterious, but is often associated to the infamous Newsweek publication written just weeks before his death. Despite his death, he remains a very popular and respected figure in the community.
His death is a great loss to the pickup artist community and came as a great shock to everyone. Rest in peace, Tom. You were a friend to many.
18. Chris Odom (Lovedrop)
Chris Odom (Lovedrop) was a pickup artist, working with Erik Von Markovik (Mystery) for some time. He is associated with the books The Mystery Method and The Pickup Artist.
19. Zan Perrion
Zan Perrion is a Canadian author and pickup artist, living in Romania. He wrote the book The Alabaster Girl.
20. Adam Lyons
Adam Lyons is a pickup artist turned dating coach, known for having two girlfriends living with him for a period of time. He continues coaching people and offering advice.
