Pickup Artist Forums Are Now Officially Dead
Since 2006, Pick-Up Artist Forum had been a major forum in the seduction community for pickup artists to write posts and explore topics about game. After 18 years of operation, it has now been taken offline, marking the end of pickup artist forums.
If you were around the Internet in the 2000s, forums were the best thing. I remember being a prominent member of multiple forums for some passions of mine, including video games. I produced hundreds of blog posts to the point that I eventually became the most active and popular blogger around 2008-2012 for my favorite forum, until I either moved on or got ‘deplatformed’ for being too cool.
Let’s face it, forums are a thing of the past. It’s not 2008 anymore. It’s 2025; a quarter of a century into the 21st century.
Why Are Pickup Artist Forums Disappearing?
Many pickup artist forums in the seduction community were created in the 1990s and 2000s, and most of them are gone now. It’s simply a matter of them failing to keep up with modern times, either by not adapting their old formats, or because the people running them stopped paying to keep the websites live.
The first known PUA forum was called alt.seduction.fast, which was created in 1994 by a student of Ross Jeffries named Lewis De Payne.
Another notable forum was Mystery’s Lounge, created in 2002 by Erik Von Markovik (Mystery). It was a very popular private community during the events of Neil Strauss’s infamous bestselling book, The Game.
Following the release of The Game in 2005, various other PUA forums had popped up, including Pick-Up Artist Forum.
Over the years, many of these forums encountered issues with spam. Random accounts would be created in order to post spam advertisements in other languages like Norwegian and Polish, or even with other unreadable random characters that had been mashed together to avoid spam filters.
The Biggest Flaws Of Pickup Artist Forums
Forums were great to archive people’s posts and activities into different categories. But with most PUA forums aging, many of these forum categories became super outdated with old-school terms like ‘sarging’ and ‘lairs’. There was also the non-existence of anything even remotely close to categorizing advice for Tinder and Instagram (Message game), since ‘online game’ is probably more of a category for Minecraft enthusiasts. Especially on a forum.
However, I would say that the biggest flaw overall was the lack of real practical activity. In the categories for finding wingmen, people would write a post looking for wingmen in New York, Miami, London and many other cities. But then you would see that these posts were made in 2012 or even all the way back in 2007. You’ll just see a wall of dead users from over a decade ago leaving their abandoned cheesy email addresses, or Skype usernames.
Until this week, I hadn’t even heard anyone say the word ‘Skype’ for fucking years. It was only when Mystery’s wingman, Beckster, highlighted in our latest interview how pickup artist content has changed since The Mystery Method was originally written.
On top of all this, the most recent reply on the wingman thread would be from 2 years ago, just adding their email address onto the dead chain of outdated information.
The End Of Pickup Artist Forums: Another Dead PUA Forum
In the last few years, there were really only 2 PUA forums left; Pick-Up Artist Forum and PUA Forums.
PUA Forums was more of a London-centric forum that was created in 2008, but still contained activity from other parts of the world.
As of 2024 both PUA Forums and Pick-Up Artist Forum no longer exist. The web address to PUA Forums has been replaced with a redirect, which now leads people to a small Discord server.
Discord servers and more old-school forums are not the answer for the future of the pickup artist community. Forums are outdated and now completely dead. As for Discord, good luck finding a wingman when you join a platform dedicated to nerds who use their PC all day. The point of finding wingmen is to actually go out, so using a computer-centric platform like Discord is the stupidest idea. Somehow it’s actually worse than trying to find a wingman on Reddit.
The New Hub Of The Pickup Artist Community
When I first joined the pickup artist community in 2016, Real Social Dynamics was the dominant force of the industry. RSD had built Facebook groups called RSD Inner Circle groups for many cities around the world. But unfortunately these were all shut down at the end of 2018. While Facebook was a pretty good platform back then for pickup artist communities, Facebook has ruined a lot of their own features in recent years, and Facebook groups are now increasingly unattractive and quiet in general.
However, in 2019 Game Global filled in the vacuum left behind by Real Social Dynamics by creating hundreds of local groups for wingmen all over the world. There are now 310 Game Cities, some with over 1,000 members each, with daily activity. These groups are actively moderated, have spam filters in place and are here to stay. These groups are hosted on both Telegram and Facebook, providing a great backup of the community itself.
Finding a wingman has never been easier. All you have to do is join the Game Global groups and jump right into the action.
Each group allows you to share a sticker, declaring that you are looking for a wingman to do day game or night game with. You can then follow up with a live location so wingmen can find you while you’re out gaming!
How To Find A Wingman
Step 1 – Join Your Local Game City
Join your local Telegram group via GameGlobal.net/groups.
Step 2 – Write An Introduction
You will be prompted automatically to drop a brief introduction upon joining. Follow the format and send your first message.
Step 3 – Use The Day Game Or Night Game Stickers
When heading out or already out in the field, use the day gaming or night gaming sticker to call for wingmen. These are found in the stickers section of the group.
Step 4 – Drop A Live Location
When already out in the field, drop a live location for a specified amount of time so wingmen can spontaneously find you while you’re busy meeting women! Here is an example from Game Riga, of all places!
Skool: The Forum Revival
Game Global created a Skool community in 2024, combining a forum feel with elements of free courses, weekly classes and an engaging learning environment. Members are able to effectively use it just like a forum, earning points for activity. These points enable members to unlock courses, classes and even an AI wingman.
